Information we collect

• Account information — your name and email address when you sign up with email/password or Google.
• Profile details — anything you add to your profile, such as your target role, headline, skills, and experience.
• Content you provide — resumes and documents you upload, job descriptions you paste, and the inputs you submit to our tools.
• Generated content — the results our tools create for you, saved to your history so you can revisit them.
• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card details.
• Usage data — basic, aggregated analytics about how the app is used, to help us improve it.

How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and improve the RecruitAI tools and features.
• To generate the results you request and save them to your account.
• To manage your account, plan, and billing.
• To respond to your requests and provide support.

AI processing

To generate results, the inputs you submit (such as resume text and job descriptions) are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, via the Claude API. This processing happens only to produce your output. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Storage and security

Your data is stored using Supabase, with access controls that restrict each account to its own data. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run RecruitAI, including Anthropic (AI processing), Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Google (sign-in) — each only as needed to provide the service.

Your choices

• You can view and edit your profile information at any time.
• You can delete generated results from your account.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may ask us to delete your data, subject to any legal obligations to retain it.

Children

RecruitAI is not intended for anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
